Psychology (PhD) Clinical


The mission of the graduate program in Clinical Psychology includes all of Psychology PHD missions and objectives. In addition, it is the goal of the program to train students to become scientifically oriented clinicians following the scientist-practitioner model.

Learning Outcomes

Competence in the Application of Psychology
Students will acquire the skills necessary to apply specific psychological principles to changing human behavior in several different contexts. Such competence will be achieved via supervised practica and Applied courses in clinical psychology.

Ethical and Moral Training
Students will master the content of the American Psychological Association Code of Ethics. They also will incorporate these standards into their professional activities.

Successful Student Placement
To successfully place all of our students in fields related to clinical psychology. These fields may be in academic or in the public sector.
