Mission

The mission of UNCG's Master of Arts Degree Program in Communication Sciences & Disorders is to prepare graduates to meet ASHA clinical certification standards and state licensure requirements and gain entry-level positions in speech-language pathology.

Learning Outcomes

Clinical Intervention and Assessment
Students will possess the oral and written skills necessary to support current Speech-Language Pathology clinical intervention and assessment.

Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice
Students will demonstrate the knowledge, skill, and use of evidence to support a treatment or assessment practice.

Research in CSD
Students will learn basic research skills under the supervision of a research mentor.
