Mission

The Mission of the Department of Community and Therapeutic Recreations is to prepare recreation, park, and leisure services professionals to enhance health, wellness, and quality of life among individuals and communities through excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge of relevant recreation and leisure service providers
Students demonstrate introductory knowledge of the nature and scope of the relevant recreation and leisure service providers.

Techniques and processes used by recreation and leisure professionals
