Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education Education (MEd)


We are a diverse community of scholar-researchers, leaders, and educators who have joined together in order to develop effective and principled leadership, to promote transformative learning, and to advance and disseminate cutting-edge knowledge that addresses problems of theory and practice in the fields of higher education and student affairs. The M.Ed. in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education prepares entry-level college student educators to implement holistic, transformative, and integrated learning experiences in colleges, universities, and other postsecondary settings.

Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to apply principles of student development, organizational, and administrative theories to their work in Student Affairs/Higher Education.

Students will be able to relate theories, concepts, and knowledge from core courses in the program to analyze issues and practices related to Student Affairs/Higher Education.
